About
Michael Kitada is a professional photojournalist with more than 20 years of professional photography experience.
During his time as a photo editor and staff photographer for the Orange County Register Newspaper, Michael has traveled the world in pursuit of the perfect image and his passion for photography is clearly evident in his teaching.
Currently, Michael owns his own business in Southern California and specializes in wedding photography, editorial photography and commercial photography.
He teaches photography at Cal Baptist University in Riverside, CA and has been an adjunct photography instructor at UCLA for the Daily Bruin. He offers small-group instruction on a variety of photographic topics.
When not behind a camera, Michael can be found:
Playing his guitar…
Hanging out with his family…
Singing in his church’s worship team…
Watching a Blu-ray movie…
Trying to figure out what to photograph for his i365 project….
